Editor's take
Our editors' notes on the opening arc — personal picks, not audience feedback.
"It flips the usual hunter-vampire standoff: the hunter auctions himself off to reach the vampire, and the blood the vampire craves is the only thing that can save him."
"The bargain turns dangerous as every clue leads back to a mysterious figure — and the person Noah would protect may be hiding the biggest secret."
Best for viewers who like BL dark fantasy where the hunter and vampire are locked into a mutually-needed bargain; if you want a light or comedic tone, this is brooding and secret-driven. Compared with most vampire-romance shorts, the willing-blood rule and the parents'-death mystery give it a conspiracy spine — that weight is both its strength and, for viewers wanting pure mood, its limit.
