When Sienna catches the double life around her boyfriend, the person who reshapes every rule in her life turns out to be his mysterious stepsister Aria.
Sienna spends the morning defending her long-term boyfriend Damon against her mother's warnings, while he hides a secret in the kitchen that he cannot say out loud. When Aria, the woman he calls his stepsister, moves in after being turned out by her old-school family, an accidental slip tears an expensive dress and collapses the distance between the two young women. Sienna stops crying after the double betrayal and starts fighting, with Aria the figure who redefines what she wants.

Episode one opens in the apartment: Sienna's mother nudges her to watch a partner with little ambition, and Sienna defends Damon after four years together, unaware the conversation already smells of secrets.
Episode two stays in the kitchen where Damon prepares a warm meal and confesses he has hidden something from her; he hesitates before any clear answer, keeping the household tension open through the morning.
Episode four brings Aria into the apartment after her mother kicks her out for liking girls, a backstory she takes with quiet humor. The spill on the floor makes Sienna slip into her and rip the silk dress; the close, awkward collision changes the register from roommate caution to attraction, while Sienna also processes the betrayal around Damon and her best friend.
Sienna defends a four-year relationship until the hidden truth surfaces, and her response moves from shock to fight rather than tears. In the collision over the torn dress she meets Aria up close, the figure that reorders her assumptions about what she wants.
"It is what it is, babe. I'll survive." — episode 4
Turned out by a rigid family for being attracted to women, Aria carries her situation lightly and moves into the apartment across the threshold of Sienna's relationship. The torn-dress moment brings them face to face, and her confident ease unsettles every rule Sienna had been keeping.
Damon cooks and calls Sienna babe while delaying the explanation she asks for in episode two. Around him the betrayal pattern the family warned about takes shape; he remains the triangle figure the opening arc pushes Sienna away from.
The opening arc moves from the apartment defense, to Damon's unspoken secret, to the torn-dress collision with Aria. Four editorial picks from episodes 1–4 — no ending spoilers.
Sienna tells her mother Damon will not betray her, holding onto the long relationship while the household talk already circles the truth.
Damon makes breakfast and says he hid something from her, but avoids the answer while she presses for an explanation.
Aria explains her old-school family could not handle her being attracted to women, and frames her new start with dry humor.
A slipped foot on spilled water sends Sienna into Aria, ripping the dress and leaving the two of them closer than either household arrangement expected.

Our editors' notes on the opening arc — personal picks, not audience feedback.
"The relationship setup uses ordinary domestic texture — a mother's warning, a kitchen morning — to plant the betrayal before the new connection arrives, which gives Sienna's turn later a clear emotional baseline."
"The torn-dress beat is the series' signature turn: slapstick accident, a flustered apology, and sudden closeness, while Aria's coming-out backstory adds weight beneath the comedy."
Best for viewers who like GL romance with a love-triangle breakup, a coming-out backstory, and a splash of campus-domestic comedy; if you want only a mature period or high-concept fantasy, the apartment comedy tone stays light. Compared with most forbidden-attraction shorts, this one stages the new bond through a slapstick collision rather than a formal declaration — that focus is both its strength and its limit.
