Silent Sins in the Tent
Their parents sleep three feet away. In the pitch-black tent, her stepbrother Dane's gaze has been tracking her the whole hike — and Mira is starting to think the camping trip was never an accident.
Mira's father drags the family into the woods, with her stepbrother Dane taking the rear, his gaze burning into her back. When she crushes her thumb pitching the tent, he drops the hammer and closes the distance. Then Nora slips by the river and drops both sleeping bags, forcing all four of them — parents included — into a single canvas tent.

Episode one opens on the trail. Mira's father Gordon drags her into the woods. 'I know going camping is a terrible idea, but my dad, Gordon, dragged me into the woods anyway. Sweat stings my eyes. My massive backpack keeps pulling me backward. Gordon and my stepmom, Nora march happily ahead, oblivious to my suffering.' Dane takes the rear. His footsteps are silent on the dirt path, but Mira feels his gaze burning into her back, tracking her like a predator.
They arrive, and the two of them are forced to pitch the large canvas tent together. Mira struggles with the fiberglass pole — her hands slippery with sweat, the metal joint snaps back and crushes her thumb in the hinge. Dane drops his hammer, closes the distance in two strides, and slides her bleeding thumb into his mouth. Her lungs forget how to breathe. He calls her 'bookworm,' the nickname he slapped on her four years ago when she hid behind a novel at their parents' wedding.
Then Gordon's shout rips through the trees. Nora slipped in the river. Both sleeping bags sank. They only pitched one tent, so all four of them will squeeze in together tonight. By the fire, Dane sits directly at Mira's side, and when she lies about her injured leg he tells her to stop lying to him, his hand clamping down on her hip through her shorts. Mira starts to think the whole trip was never an accident.

Editor's take
Our editors' notes on the opening arc — personal picks, not audience feedback.
It is physical and slow: the hike, the tent-pitching, the injured thumb, the torn muscle. Every injury brings Dane closer, and Mira's body reacts before she decides to.
He is written as a predator, not a hero: silent footsteps, a gaze that tracks her, and the final hint that the whole trip was engineered. The show lets Mira's fear sit on the screen.
One tent, four people, parents three feet away. The dark romance lives in the distance between Mira's sleeping bag and her stepbrother's.
Best for viewers who like forbidden stepbrother slow-burn with a dark, physically tense forest setting; if you want a consensual, sunlit romance, the predator gaze and engineered trip run uneasy. Compared with most camping shorts, this one runs on proximity and restraint — that unease is both its strength and its limit.
