Editor's take
Our editors' notes on the opening arc — personal picks, not audience feedback.
The trope adds real danger — the child's safety from gang vendettas is the reason she ran, not just a plot twist.
The don thought she was dead; the party reunion forces him to confront the son he never knew.
Best for viewers who want a straightforward mafia secret-baby reunion with genuine danger. The fake-death setup and the party cornering are the core. If you want slow worldbuilding, this is a compact, trope-delivery romance.
