Episode one opens on the ice. The coach pulls them aside: you should be best friends, not worst enemies. Owen and David glare. They go one-on-one, last goal wins, and after the whistle David pins Owen and says kiss me and I'll let you be captain.
Episode two: David is captain. Owen is furious — he took my spot, the MVP, now even my crush. The most popular girl confesses; David turns her down, saying he is already in love with someone. The locker room loses it.
Episode three: Owen finds David's folded note. Blonde hair, green eyes, every time you talk I just want to kiss you. Owen works it out — Silverman, his sister's name — and assumes the letter is for her. David catches him red-handed, and the rivals now share a secret neither can say out loud.

Editor's take
Our editors' notes on the opening arc — personal picks, not audience feedback.
"The hockey setting gives every scene a physical pressure — arguments on the ice, in the locker room, in the shower corridor, nowhere to hide."
"The mistaken-identity letter is a clean engine; each episode reveals one more clue about who it is really for."
Best for viewers who like sports rivals-to-lovers with a mistaken-identity love letter and locker-room banter; if you want a slow burn, the captaincy fight and letter land fast. Compared with most high-school shorts, the on-ice setting keeps it physical and compressed — that pace is both its strength and, for viewers wanting depth, its limit.
