Married to the Hidden Dragon King
Last time, my sister stole the Lion King and left me with the weakest outcast. This time, I choose him anyway.
Episode one opens on the Choosing Ceremony. Riley takes the hand of the dark-haired boy across the aisle in front of the whole court. He warns her he is just from the underground insect clan — the lowest, weakest race in Elder Land — and that she will be mocked for life. "So what?" she says. She is reborn with memories of her past life, and she knows the outcast is actually the Dragon King in disguise.
Married to the Hidden Dragon King is available on SagaBox through its official player.

Episode one opens on the Choosing Ceremony. Riley, in a sage-green dress, asks the dark-haired boy across the aisle his name. "Aiden Reed." She takes his hand in front of the whole court: "Today, I, Riley Parker, take Aiden Reed as my mate. Bear witness, all of you." Aiden hesitates: "You really want me as your mate? I'm just from the underground insect clan — the lowest, weakest race in all of Elder Land. Stay with me and you'll be mocked and bullied for life." Riley: "So what? I'll earn what I want myself. If you mean it, just stay with me. That's enough."
The court erupts. Her father, Chief Ellis, disowns her: "From this moment on, you're no longer a daughter of the Parker family. Live or die, that's on you." Her sister Zoe steps forward, blonde and smiling: "You belong to the lowly insect clan and I belong to the lion clan. For the rest of your life. You'll be beneath me." Riley doesn't flinch. She whispers to Aiden: "The mate bonding is in three days. Don't forget to come claim me."
The cut to the palace reveals the whole game. A dark-haired man in simple leather sits alone; his attendant bows: "My lord, you rule all of Elder Land. Why keep disguising yourself as the underground insect clan?" The Dragon King smirks: "Those old dragons won't stop nagging me to pick a mate. Better her than those scheming beast women at the palace."
Meet the characters
Riley
Brunette, elf-eared, in a sage-green courtship dress. Last time she was forced to run and live like a stray after Zoe took the Lion Chief. This time she takes the outcast's hand on purpose — "This time, Grace is mine."
Aiden Reed
Dark-haired, sharp-featured, in a simple brown leather tunic. He has wandered the streets daily to avoid the palace elders pushing females at him. To his attendant he mutters that Riley might be the easiest person to please he has ever met.
Zoe
Blonde, curly-haired, elf-eared, in a pink courtship dress. Last time she got the weak insect-clan match; this time she walks off with the Lion Clan, believing she won the gamble. "I took your luck this time."

Editor's take
Our editors' notes on the opening arc — personal picks, not audience feedback.
"The hook is the rebirth, not a slow burn: the past-life flashback lands in episode two, and every scene after is Riley choosing the outcast on purpose because she already knows who he is."
"Riley is written like a woman who already knows the ending — no hesitation, no begging her father, no flinching at the sneer. Aiden is allowed to look genuinely powerful rather than softened into a weak love interest."
Best for viewers who like rebirth fantasy romance where the heroine chooses the disguised weakling on purpose and knows the ending; if you want the heroine to discover the secret slowly, she knows from minute one. Compared with most dragon-king shorts, the insect-clan disguise is a wall he built, never a punchline — that reversal focus is both its strength and, for viewers wanting a slow secret reveal, its limit.
