He's As Pretty As Her
A fake girl, a roommate who saw through it on day one — and a heartthrob patient enough to play along.
Liam plans to cross-dress as Lily and charm his rival roommate Ethan into ruin — but Ethan recognized him on day one and decided to play along. The comedy runs on Liam being the last to know the plan never fooled anyone, until the slow-burn confession turns the prank into real feelings.

The premise opens with a feud: Liam watches Ethan with Chloe, jealousy flaring, and vows to let him know what it feels like to be played. He cross-dresses as Lily — but Ethan recognized him on day one and decided to play along instead.
What follows is a daily push-and-pull: Ethan picking at the disguise's small tells, calling her like a roommate he really hates (meaning the opposite), while Liam doubles down on the wrong track.
The blink game and the kiss tease build to the emotional showdown — then what about me — as Chloe's thread unravels who really wants whom. The plan always resolves as found out and forgiven, never mean.
Meet the characters
Liam
Light-gold curls, grey-blue eyes, a grey hoodie. He cross-dresses as Lily to ruin his rival roommate, and keeps being the last to know the plan never fooled anyone.
Ethan
Golden-brown curls, a white shirt, endless patience. He recognized Lily at first sight and played along anyway — with a boundary line: he doesn't touch people who don't want it.
Standout beats
The opening feud: Liam watches Ethan with Chloe, jealous, and the revenge plan begins.
Ethan toys with Lily's hair and says the opposite of what he means — already knowing, playing it cool.
The comedy set-piece the comment section replays, Ethan letting Liam dig himself deeper one round at a time.
The kiss tease, the slow-burn peak right before the confession.

Editor's take
Our editors' notes on the opening arc — personal picks, not audience feedback.
"It is a double game: Liam plans to charm his roommate into ruin, and Ethan recognized him on day one and simply plays along. Liam never knows he's already found out."
"The campus setting keeps it sweet, light, and laughing — awkward dates and physical gags, with the plan resolving as found-out-and-forgiven rather than anything mean."
Best for viewers who like sweet, light campus BL comedy where the disguise was never fooling anyone; if you want angst or high stakes, this is deliberately bouncy. Compared with most cross-dressing rom-coms, the roommate's early knowledge removes cruelty and leans into banter — that warmth is both its strength and, for viewers wanting tension, its limit.
