Eira decides to give her virginity to her boyfriend. It goes wrong one wrong-door away: she walks into the wrong dark playroom and is claimed instead by his terrifying Alpha father, the most ruthless man in the pack. The mistake that was supposed to be one awful night becomes the center of her life.
Around her, everyone she trusted turns. Her boyfriend is cheating, and her own stepsister is in on it. Betrayed from both sides, Eira is left with no one — except the Alpha who claimed her in the dark, a man who is frightening to the whole world but unexpectedly protective of the omega carrying his pup.
The pregnancy changes the math. Worst of all for her ex, Eira is now carrying his father's secret child. What begins as a terrifying claim slowly becomes the one place she has any protection at all, as the ruthless Alpha turns out to be the only person standing between her and the family that sold her out.

Editor's take
Our editors' notes on the opening arc — personal picks, not audience feedback.
The ABO dynamics are not window dressing here — they are the engine of the power, the betrayal, and the unexpected tenderness. The claim, the betrayal reveal, and the secret-pregnancy cliffhanger all land inside the opening run.
The male lead is an antagonist-turned-protector: ruthless to the world, gentle only with the omega carrying his pup. It is a familiar dark-romance beat, played straight rather than winked at.
Best for viewers who like ABO dark romance with betrayal, forced proximity, and a secret-pregnancy hook; if you need the hero and heroine to meet on equal, consensual footing from the start, the claim premise is deliberately coercive. Compared with most omegaverse shorts, this one stacks betrayal from boyfriend, stepsister, and family all at once — that density is both its strength and its limit.
