Editor's take
Our editors' notes on the opening arc — personal picks, not audience feedback.
The hook pairs a corporate takeover standoff with a hidden-identity reveal: the lead believes she is moving unseen, while the CEO has known her real identity since day one, which keeps each scene two-sided.
The romance grows out of the espionage chess match first; attraction develops only as the corporate traps close in, so the power balance shifts scene by scene.
Best for viewers who like corporate thrillers layered with an intense, adversarial romance; if you prefer the relationship to lead from episode one, this one drives on boardroom pressure and hidden identity first.
